This letter is in regards to Ms. Teresa Speciale’s work with Long Beach Model Forest. Ms. Speciale worked as a
communications consultant for ten weeks with our organization. During this tenure, Ms. Speciale redesigned our
Website by organizing our information, projects, reports and organizational profile in a manner that was both
creative and efficient. During this same tenure, Ms. Speciale also designed a number of templates for our
organization including project reports and monthly newsletter designs. As well, she translated into Spanish
several of our research project reports making them available to our partners in Central and South America.
These translations will be included on our new Website!
We are very pleased and enthusiastic about the work Ms. Speciale produced for our model forest in that she
was able to target areas that we were unable to manage. She offered creative and innovative solutions, and was
able to relate to a very complex organization that works in computer technology, scientific research, and community
advocacy, all within a regional, national and international context.
We were very fortunate to have Ms. Speciale’s expertise offered to us during her term here, and would recommend
her to any organization, as she is very capable of grasping and targeting communications tools and strategies for a
